Apple Developer Accounts

Before we can get your app development underway, Apple requires you to create a developer account and add Shortcuts as an admin. This enables us to publish the app on your behalf. All you need to do is follow the steps below.

Follow these steps

Before you start

Make sure you have all these details:

  • DUNS number (see below)
  • Apple ID (see below)
  • Legal business/company name
  • Your company website address
  • A contact phone number (Apple may call you to verify your enrolment)
  • An email address to use for the account registration.

Find your DUNS number

  1. Most businesses are automatically assigned a DUNS number when they apply for an ABN. You can check your DUNS number on this website by entering your ABN into the Company/Business Search section.
  2. Your DUNS number will be displayed above your ABN.
  3. If you don’t have a DUNS number you can apply for one here.

Register for an Apple ID

Click here to learn how to register for an Apple ID if you do not have an existing Apple ID. Ensure your Apple ID has been registered and confirmed before you begin enrolment.
