Version 7.17

What’s new

General (customer communication)

  • Your customers will now be able update their communication preferences via a centralized page. Customers will access this page from receiving the following communications:
    • Appointment Acknowledgements
    • Online Booking confirmation
    • Ratings and Reviews
    • Loyalty and Memberships notifications
  • We have updated the unsubscribe message on email confirmations.

Cloud

  • Customer setup screen has communication preferences and mandatory fields
  • You will now be able to upsell a product or service via Point of Sale
  • Resource security permission has been added
  • You can now configure your staff and their logins via the employee setup screen
  • Levels and capabilities associated with any given Appointment Book filter will now be shown on the filter options sidebar.

Online Services

  • If a guest is deleted from the Point of Sale system, the client’s record will also be removed from all Online Services

Online Booking

  • The customer card has been modified to reflect monitory fields and communication preferences
  • Terms and conditions have been updated
  • Booking confirmation emails have been enhanced to now allow users to choose their communication preferences via the unsubscribe link.

mylocalsalon

  • Users will now be able to delete their profile
  • A new popup dialogue, displaying the privacy policy and acceptance fields, will now be shown to any customers that have not yet accepted the mylocalsalon Privacy Policy
  • Terms and conditions have been updated in the customer registration screen
  • Privacy Statement has been updated
  • Booking confirmation emails have been enhanced to now allow users to choose their communication preferences via the unsubscribe link.

Memberships and Loyalty

  • Email notification configuration now has a mandatory communication preferences placeholder link
  • Guests will now be able to update their communication preferences via the unsubscribe link on all email notifications.

Mobile Guest App

  • A guest can now access a business Privacy Policy via the customer profile and accept it.

Self Check-in

  • Guests will now be able to read a business privacy policy and update their consent when checking in.


Resolved issues

Cloud

  • Performance improvements have been made to reduce the time it takes for the appointment book to load
  • The “Find duplicate clients” feature will now update a customer card as normal when a duplicate customer is identified at another location
  • Synchronisation errors will no longer occur after restoring a Fusion backup
  • A scroll bar has been added to the tasks list
  • Visit notes can be accessed and updated
  • Multi-block appointments will now be booked in the correct order in Safari
  • Appointment book filter, employee list will now only show employees who are displayed in the appointment book
  • Improvements have been made to booking multi-block services via the appointment sidebar
  • Performance improvements have been made to reduce screen load times and increase responsiveness

Upfront Payments

  • Guest receipts will now display the appointments booking date
  • Within the stripe dashboard, the stripe description for an upfront payment received will display “Deposit for booking” followed by the appointment booking
  • Payments will now be applied correctly to appointments and reflected in the point of sale
  • Payments will now be displayed in the correct currency as per the sites stripe account settings
  • Users can now access the Upfront Payments screen within the S.M.A.R.T. System console and configure settings
  • Guests can now successfully use the ‘Remove card’ button with in the Mobile Guest App
  • The pay and confirm button will no longer be disabled when making a booking
  • The error message displayed to the guest when a card is declined when making the payment has been updated

Online CICs

  • PIN timeout has been modified to 30 minutes
  • S.M.A.R.T. System console timeout has been modified to 24 hours
  • Improvements have been made to the saving process to ignore unchanged phone numbers
  • Guests will be able to sign within the signature field using Chrome on an android tablet
  • The invalid “Form Accepted” message box will not be displayed when cancelling a form
  • “This client is not available for online modification” will now be displayed if a guest’s record hasn’t synced to Online Services
  • Disabled page refreshing when scrolling pass the top of the form
  • Visit notes entered will now appear on the guest’s appointment schedule in Shortcuts Fusion
  • Capture photo and image logo are now translated for Spanish language
  • The following text button have been updated
    • Client history string > History and Notes
    • Client entry string > Client Mode
    • Edit client string > Employee Mode.

Online Reporting

  • Performance improvements have been made to the way statistics are generated.

mylocalsalon

  • Users can now make a successful booking on the mylocalsalon website
  • Improvements have been made to synchronising, displaying reviews, opening-hours and site availability metrics.

Online Booking

  • Dates selector has been corrected to show today’s date on selection. The display of days/dates are now aligned in the calendar display
  • Customers are now able to make an Online Booking even if they have multiple accounts with one company
  • Emails will now be sent in the correct language.

Sales Force

  • SMS message format and integration has been updated.

Mobile Guest App

  • The “Link a new client” screen has been modified to contain the following fields: relationship, first name, last name, email address, date of birth and mobile phone
  • SMS verification will send correctly when setting up Loyalty
  • When a guest selects “sign me up” within the Loyalty tile, then selects the back button they will be navigated back to the home screen/previous screen
  • When adding an existing card within the loyalty tile, you will now be informed that a card number is required if the card field is left blank
  • Guests will now be navigated back to the previous screen, when selecting the back button within the ‘Enter Verification Code’ screen
  • Loyalty’s last updated balance date and time will now show the correct format
  • S.M.A.R.T. Console users will now be able to access the Mobile Guest App tile without an error been displayed.

Loyalty

  • Loyalty in the Mobile Guest App will now display points balance and rewards expiry in the history screen
  • Improvements have been made to the performance of Loyalty points accrual and generating the monthly loyalty statement
  • Users will now be able to successfully link a client’s loyalty card to multiple sites under the same company.

Spotlight

  • Company managers will now be able to access the Spotlight feature as expected
  • When posting a ratings review to Facebook, company logos will now be displayed correctly.
