Shortcuts Coach Maria

While you probably know Maria as the friendly voice at the end of the line, helping you discover the possibilities of Shortcuts, what you may not realise is she is also a DIY queen, working with her husband to renovate their house themselves!

Originally cutting her teeth in the beauty industry, Maria quickly discovered a knack for business management and mentoring staff. After managing a successful salon for many years, Maria made the move to Shortcuts HQ where she uses her expertise to help businesses grow with the right technology.

Shortcuts Coach Jonathan

Our resident Brit, Jonathan, comes to Shortcuts from Manchester via London and Sydney. His career has seen him crisscross the globe working in salons, backstage at hair expos and in industry education for more than 20 years.

Jonathan brings a great deal of passion to his role as Shortcuts Coach, using his in-depth understanding of the industry to help business owners improve their lives with tech. When he’s not busy helping Shortcuts customers, you can find Jonathan exploring his new city in his little mini with his Frenchie in tow.

Shortcuts Coach Wendy

To call our Western Australian Coach, Wendy, experienced is an understatement. With a career spanning more than 30 years, Wendy has a huge amount of industry knowledge, and the stories to match! Since first coming across Shortcuts in 1997 while working for one of the largest salon chains in WA, Wendy has shown a knack for the software and a passion for sharing it with others.

After officially joining Team Shorties in 2007, Wendy has continued sharing her knowledge with salons, spas and barbershops across the country, helping them upgrade their businesses. When she’s not sharing her goldmine of technical know-how, you can find Wendy exploring South East Asia or spending time closer to home at one of WA’s phenomenal wineries.

Shortcuts Coach Kamy

Kamy had what it takes to succeed in this industry from an early age, and she has the awards and accolades to prove it – including 2016 Australian Manager of the Year at the AHIAs.

During her 12 years in the salon, Kamy moved from hairdresser to salon manager, finding a passion for mentoring and a love of sharing her skills to improve business success. It’s this passion that brought Kamy to Shortcuts, in her role as Coach. When she’s not helping businesses across the country you can find her hunting for South East Queensland’s best beaches or enjoying a good grazing board with a few wines!

Shortcuts Coach Emma

Based on the Gold Coast, Emma heads up our team of coaches. Originally from South Australia, Emma has been in the hair and beauty industry for 20 years, working her way up from hairdressing apprentice to salon coordinator before making the (right) move up to Queensland, where she joined Team Shorties.

During her time with Shortcuts, Emma first worked in a sales role before moving into education where her passion for the industry helps her connect with businesses across Australia and New Zealand. Outside of work, Emma is kept on her toes by her two little girls but tries to get to the beach as much as possible.
