Inspirational New Years resolutions from our clients

Inspirational New Years resolutions from our clients

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you from the Shortcuts team!

Here at Shortcuts, we’re often inspired by our clients: their ambition as they bring their business dreams to life, their incredible grit and grace as they overcome challenges, their creativity and innovation.

We asked a handful of our wonderful clients to share their New Year’s resolutions for 2017 and were blown away by everyone’s enthusiasm. We hope their resolutions ignite a little spark of inspiration to help you define what’s most important for you and your business in the new year.

Get more organised

Our resolution at Skin Fitness Clinic

In 2017, we’re keen to hit the ground running by getting super organised. This means making a plan for the whole year – and sticking to it!

We’ll be using our email marketing to its full potential, ramping up our social media to connect more with clients, and launching a brand new rewards program with the Shortcuts Loyalty feature. We’re also incredibly excited to introduce new, cutting-edge treatments.

Personally, I’m looking forward to spending lots of quality time with my family and supporting my daughter (with lots of listening and hugs) as she enters year 11.

– Renee Bellamy, Skin Fitness Clinic

Push forward with our education team

Our resolution at Lil Off The Top

Next year we look forward to pushing the Togninis education team forward and taking our education program for salons, Lil Off the Top, to the next level. We really believe in education and making sure everyone in our industry – including smaller salons – can develop new skills and borrow from our 30 years of technical experience.

In 2017 we’re changing the way we do education, making it more fun and focussing on fostering hairdressing skills, rather than just teaching which products to use.

With the birth of my first son last January, 2017 is also a year I want to start balancing my home life with my career a little better. Balancing work with your personal life is always a bit of a tough one, but being a good dad is important to me.

– Jules Tognini, Lil Off The Top

Create amazing experiences for our clients

Our resolution at Anahata Therapies

Next year, our goal is to elevate our customer experience and make our clients feel special and honoured whenever they come to Anahata for a treatment or consultation, and ensure they are always empowered with knowledge and choices.

Anahata Therapies is all about creating a place to nurture, nourish, educate, empower and uplift people using the ancient art of Ayurveda, and this resolution still feels very humbling and satisfying!

My vision for next year is to work on getting Ayurveda recognised by the government and health funds as a legitimate health modality, allowing our clients to be able to claim rebates.

My grand vision is to eventually have an Ayurvedic retreat in the countryand an Ayurvedic hospital to treat all types of ailments naturally and in harmony with nature.

– Jana Carozzi, Anahata Therapies

Tap into tech

Our resolution at Skin Purrfect

Next year will be a very exciting year for us, and full of technology! There are lots of things on our to-do list, including getting our brand new website up, opening up our business with 24/7 online booking and introducing our clients to the mySALONapp.

We’ll have new equipment on board to offer our clients a new range of advanced facial therapies.

Oh, and we just redid our treatment menu. It launched this month, ready for the new year!

– Sally Cordner, Skin Purrfect
