A searchable Learning Centre
Are you looking to learn a new thing or two about your Shortcuts system? Or do you simply need to brush up on your knowledge? Our new searchable Learning Centre is brimming with quick videos and step-by-step guides on how to use Shortcuts.
Whether you want to learn how to set up Online Booking, manage Memberships, understand your Reporting, or absolutely anything else, the Learning Centre will allow you to plug in your search query and deliver up the goods you’re searching for. It’s super handy, trust us!
Email receipts and ordering
We said good-bye to paper rolls and paper waste in 2017 and introduced email ordering and email receipts features. Email ordering was designed to give you a fuss-free way to keep your shelves stocked and make your salon, spa or barber shop eco-friendlier. Learn all about it in this webinar.
With email receipts, instead of printing receipt after receipt for your client (which they will inevitably lose), simply make sure the client’s email address has been entered, click “email receipt” instead of “print” and, hey presto, the receipt lands in their inbox. It also gives you the perfect opportunity to nab your clients’ email addresses, or check they’re up to date, so you can ensure a squeaky clean database for your smooth marketing efforts.
Joining forces with Sustainable Salons Australia early in 2017 inspired us to spread the word about thinking more consciously about our environmental footprint. We created the green fee feature that helps you alleviate the financial burden of sustainability by automatically charging clients a teeny-tiny fraction of their final amount – all to help your cause. Just let your clients know your sustainability mission and they’ll be happy to help out!
Booking on behalf of another in the app
Your clients are busy people. They’re constantly juggling work, errands, friends and family – especially their kids. The Mobile Guest App now enables your clients to book an appointment on behalf of another person, such as their child, when they’re on the go need to book ASAP.
Print a gift receipt
Think about it: what gift giver wants to reveal how much they spent on the present? Not many. Shortcuts lets you print a gift receipt without displaying the price of the item. If the gift’s recipient decides to return or exchange the gift, they won’t be able to see the price. Your client won’t need to spill their secret!
A revolutionary feature for spas, clinics, and even those of you with salons, Customised Forms were designed to help you build a personalised waiver form and collect important information from your clients before their appointment. Using the form, your client can fill in their details and answer your questions on a tablet, then simply sign it at the end. The form can then sync straight to their online client history record.
