POS SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
For best performance, recommended specifications should be used. Shortcuts will only support performance related issues if clients are running the recommended ( ) hardware specifications. Under minimum specifications, performance related issues may arise when running Shortcuts outside normal usage.
Shortcuts strongly recommends that all computers running Shortcuts on a network be wired with Cat5 cabling or higher grade for consistent and reliable network communications.

It is expected that this server will be dedicated to hosting the Shortcuts Enterprise suite and SQL database only. Installing and running additional services and applications on the server (e.g. Microsoft Exchange Server) could adversely impact the performance of the server, resulting in decreased performance of the Shortcuts Enterprise suite.
