Shortcuts Live updates

We're about to release some exciting new updates to Shortcuts Live and the S.M.A.R.T. System.
These updates will be released on Monday 15 December 2014. Your Shortcuts Live system will continue to function as usual, without you having to do a thing.

You can now create and update custom security fields on the customer and employee screens.
We have also ensured:
- Only users who have permissions to update business settings can update regional settings
- Only users who can update products can also update/create suppliers
- Only users who have customer setup permissions can use the customer import feature.
In addition, only users who have the appropriate permissions can:
- Update visit notes
- Configure connections settings
- View reports
- Set up custom fields
- Import and export customers
- Create calendar entries
- Access the appointment contact log
- Create/update service categories.
You can now see any discounts that have been applied to refunded items in a client's refunded transaction history.
Look and feel
You can now change themes for individual users.
We have improved the role sidebar on the Employee Setup screen so that it now displays roles for only the currently selected employee.
When you view the active clients list, you will now see only active clients.
When you search for clients with the “Active” checkbox selected, you will only see active clients in the search results.
When you are setting up items and suppliers on the product setup screen, you will only need to enter an 'effective from' date if a future price is required.
When you are making appointments, you can only see active employees who have been assigned a column in the appointment book.
You can now see arrived and confirmed appointments, as well as booked appointments, in the appointment side bar.
We have improved the future appointments list to exclude appointments for the current day.
Anywhere and Online Client Information Cards (CICs)
We have improved the search functionality in Anywhere and Online CICs - you can now enter a full name in the search field, to easily locate the client you are looking for.
We have improved the expiring members report - it now includes more succinct data.
You can now decide whether or not your clients can rebook, reschedule and cancel appointments.
