Shortcuts nominated as a Big Kahuna of cool Australian companies

BRISBANE 22 September 2008 – World leaders in salon and spa software, Shortcuts Software, has been named as a finalist in the PricewaterhouseCoopers Coolest Company Awards.

Shortcuts is one of three finalists contending for the Big Kahuna award, a new category that recognises companies with 100 or more employees who promote positive employee/employer relations, programs to support environmental and sustainable business practises. The judging criteria for this award also incorporates the strength of the organisation’s brand among its target market, the history of the organisation, its ability to overcome challenges and its contribution to Australian culture and Australian communities.

In addition, Shortcuts is also eligible for the overall PricewaterhouseCoopers Coolest Company Award that will be selected from one of the eight category winners. The Coolest Company will have demonstrated success by doing things differently or defying convention to bring about positive change.

David Kearney, Special Projects Coordinator from awards organiser, Australian Anthill said, “Shortcuts impressed us with its ability to dominate a unique market. The software is equally innovative as it is simple, professional and accessible. We congratulate Shortcuts and recognise their achievement in leading the way in salon and spa management software throughout the world.”
