Business Requirements Analysis

Shortcuts adds even more value to their education.

May 7th, 2007 – Long Beach, CA – Shortcuts Software, a long-time provider of value-added technology solutions for the beauty industry, is now implementing a new service that will be part of every client’s implementation and education process.

Called the Business Requirement Analysis (BRA), this process is another layer on top of the already innovative education package. After the client decides to move forward with Shortcuts Software, no matter which package they choose, the first step is now the BRA. One of the Shortcuts Educators gets in touch with the salon owner to ask questions about their business, such as commission structures, employee policies, levels of security and front desk procedures prior to configuring their system.

“We think of this as a consultation for our new client’s businesses, just as a new client would receive a consultation upon entering a salon prior to their service,” said Michele Armstrong, Education & Project Manager for Shortcuts Software. “Since no two salons are alike and you wouldn’t want to just select software ‘off the shelf’, the BRA allows Shortcuts to create a completely unique database for each client.”

Shortcuts Software will not sell their system without education and implementation simply because they believe in the value of education and the processes behind the system is what makes implementing a technology solution successful. Fully customizing each system, educating the salon owner and the team on using the system and offering 24/7 support using a toll-free number are all part of the Shortcuts system.

“Our education is top-of-the-line and has always been a major focus for Shortcuts,” said Rob Aubin, General Manager for Shortcuts Software. “The built-in quality of the entire process ensures success for each of our clients. The BRA is a new step in the process that gives our educators a higher level of understanding behind each client’s business, allowing them to create a software solution that fits their individual business.”
