The trip of a lifetime provided by Shortcuts! Long Beach, CA - July 1, 2005 - Shortcuts ran two separate promotions utilizing a trip to the United Kingdom to meet Anestis Cobella as the grand prize. Each winner will be flying over the Atlantic to London, England just in time for the Salon International Trade Show on October 24th through the 26th. The first promotion was a raffle for the attendees of the Horst Rechelbacher presentation at the Chicago Midwest Beauty Show. Rachel Mayoh, the owner of Rachel Joseph Salon, was the lucky winner that night. The second promotion was through a survey advertised on the BehindTheChair.com website as well as through a BehindTheChair.com eBlast. Close to a thousand respondents answered the survey online, but only one lucky woman won, Amy Gies from Jujube’z the Salon, Inc. in Washington State. These lucky winners will receive an all expense paid trip to London for two nights. One day will be spent at Cobella at Selfridges, where they will observe and learn from the world leading stylists and managers. The highlight of the day will be lunch with Anestis Cobella himself! The trip will also be centered around the Salon International trade show beginning the 24th of October 2005 in London, England. Each winner and their guests will be given tickets to the show for the day of their choice, giving them a chance to see the international crowd that gathers at the show.
