Introducing the only software solution sophisticated enough to manage numerous locations.

Palm Beach, FL - June 5th-7th, 2005 – Shortcuts Salon & Spa Software jetted out to Palm Beach, FL for the International Chain Salon Association Annual Conference held at The Breakers on the first weekend in June to showcase our Enterprise Software.

The conference was held over a series of three days and was focused on networking and education, providing the ultimate information channel for the members of the association. The ICSA represents some of the largest chains in North America and beyond. This group each owns at least 5 or more locations and must reach a certain level of revenue to become a member.

Along with meeting with potential clients and hosting an Australian Cocktail Party on the evening of June 6th. There was gourmet catering and entertainment that demonstrated the finer side of Australian culture. With a variety of Australian wine, Australian delicacies (such as kangaroo tenderloin), and Australian entertainment, the evening proved to be a truly unique Australian experience.

As well as hosting a party for the evening, Shortcuts donated a trip to Australia that was raffled off during the conference with all proceeds going to the ICSA Government Affairs to assist in the current and future legislative initiatives in support of salon businesses. This part of the association lobbies for measures and causes relevant to the industry and supports different initiatives that supports the salon and spa businesses in North America. Throughout two days that the raffle lasted, the ICSA was able to raise over $60,000 to support their efforts.

“Thanks to the Australian trip donated by Shortcuts, the ICSA will be able to continue to fund its initiatives in Washington for at least another year,” said Ron Provenzano, ICSA president and co-owner of Zano Salons in suburban Chicago. “In particular, the money raised will be used to continue to fight for passage of the Small Business Tax Equalization and Compliance Act, which would save salon owners thousands of dollars per year in tax credits.”
