Carrying plastic has become a standard and chances are your clients hardly hand over cash these days. So you need a convenient and effective way to accommodate your clients! Shortcuts uses a third party credit card processor so you can run your credit cards through the system, but still have the flexibility of shopping around for the best rates and choosing your own merchant service provider. Although you can manually enter credit cards into the point of sale, using the Shortcuts integrated credit cards makes your desk cleaner without that black box and it also makes things easier with less mistakes.

There are some very significant benefits to using integrated credit card versus using the "little black box" on the counter:

• Eliminates the monthly leasing fee paid to the provider for the physical equipment.
  
  
• Credit Card payment types and amounts are automatically stored in Shortcuts Software effectively eliminating user error (i.e. a stylist choosing the Master Card Payment type when the transaction was actually paid for with a Visa or AMEX)
  
  
• Reconciling credit card transactions at the close of day is quick and easy as there is little to no effort required. A report will total up received money from each credit card type and automatically match up with Shortcuts Software.
